Warranty & aftercare
Fixtures outlive projects. Here is what is covered, for how long, and who to contact when something is not right.
Because Lumilight is our own brand, a warranty claim does not start with us contacting a supplier. You contact us, and we deal with it.
Cover runs from the date of handover, or the date of delivery on supply-only orders. It covers failure of the LED module, driver, housing or seals in normal use — which includes outdoor fixtures doing the job they were rated for.
What is covered
- LED module failure, or light output dropping below 70% of the original within the warranty period
- Driver and control gear failure
- Housing corrosion or seal failure on fixtures used within their IP and IK rating
- Colour shift beyond the stated binning tolerance across a batch
- Workmanship on anything our own crew installed, for twelve months
What is not covered
- Damage from installation by others outside our instructions, including wrong driver pairing
- Power supply faults, surges, lightning, or voltage outside the stated range
- Fixtures used outside their rating — an IP20 downlight in a wet area, for example
- Physical damage, modification, or repainting of the housing
- Normal wear on moving parts and gaskets past the warranty period
Making a claim
Email hello@lumiverse.com with the project name, the fixture and a photograph or short video of the fault. We will tell you within one working day whether it is a warranty replacement, and arrange collection or a site visit. Replacements are supplied from stock where we have it.
Aftercare beyond the warranty
Scenes drift, rooms get re-used, and planting grows into the beam of a tree light. We will come back and re-aim, re-programme or re-balance a scheme at any point in its life. Within the first year that visit is free on projects we installed.
Something not working as it should?
Tell us the project and the fixture, and we will come back within one working day.
